Description

A masterwork of titanium and carbon fiber, this system is designed specifically for the unique acoustic exhaust signature of the 3.6L V6 EcoBoost engine in the Ford GT. It features Borla (R)'S Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire ™ technology for improved performance and a custom ATAK (R) sound. Borla (R)'S Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, Borla (R)'S patented SwitchFire ™ design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom aggressive sound. The system is constructed of premium high quality Titanium and features ultra-smooth mandrel bends to ensure maximum flow and power, and the precision computer numeric control (CNC) manufacturing ensures an accurate fit. The dual 5 Inch angle-cut intercooled carbon fiber tips provide the perfect finishing touch. The tips are mounted to the body and the exhaust pipes float within the tips to accommodate for thermal expansion of the system.
